July 11 ,1914 ) is a formeroutfielder inMajor League Baseball , playing mainly as aright fielder for three different teams between by|1944 and by|1948. Listed at 6'0", 175 lb., he batted and threw left handed. He was born inChicago, Illinois .Binks reached the majors in 1944 with the Washington Senators, spending three years with them before moving to the Philadelphia Athletics (1947-1948) and St. Louis Browns (1948). His most productive season came in 1945 with Washington, when he hit .278 with six
