- First Time User Experience
First Time User Experience (FTUE) is a term used across the computer industry, especially internally, at places such as Microsoft, Apple, and other consumer applicationsFact|date=October 2007. This is an offshoot of Out-Of-Box Experience (OOBE).Fact|date=October 2007 The differences are, for OOBE, it describes the packaging, information presentation, and setup of the system out of the box - that term can be used for any type of packaging, not just software.
