Eaton Chapel

Eaton Chapel is a private chapel to the north of Eaton Hall in Eaton Park, near the village of Eccleston, Cheshire, England (gbmapping|SJ415607). History

The chapel was built in 1873–84 to a design by Alfred Waterhouse for the 1st Duke of Westminster.

tructure

It is built in buff sandstone and has a grey slate roof. It consists of a five bay nave and a 3 bay chancel with an apse. There is a six-stage tower with a corbelled clock-chamber above which is by a gabled and pinnacled spire. The tower is linked to the chapel by a two storey wing with a bridge above it.

The altar is at the west end.
