July 26 2007 , Southampton FC confirmed it had sold the station to South Wales based radio group Town & Country Broadcasting - headed up by lifelong Southampton Football Club fanJason Bryant (ex Talksport and Virgin Radio).Radio Hampshire became the sixth station in the Town & Country portfolio, joining the likes of 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire, 102.1 Swansea Bay Radio and 106.3 Bridge FM in its ranks.
