Victoria College School

Victoria College School is a school in Amman, Jordan. It is from the KG till high school. Though it is a little bit small it provides a great education for students, they also have a new English studying system that helps the students to have more experiences. And they have a new system for computer education that teaches all students in their school in different ages many and great things on the computer.

Location

The school is a really famous school, there are branches of it in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and other countries. The late king of Jordan king Hussien bin Talal studied in it in the branch in Egypt, and it was built in Jordan in 1996. It was a really big school at first when they built it in Jordan and a lot of people signed into it, but in 2002 the school owners for some reason removed the school from this place and moved it to another school in Jordan. The building was much smaller than the owners promised, but promised the student's parents to move the school to a bigger building. In 2004 the owners changed and there were new owners in the school till now (2007), the school stayed in that location but year after year the school provided more good things to the students and it gets better and better.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Every year the school has a sports day, they give all the students from all ages the day off to have fun and to be a part of this day . Every year they pick senior students from the school to be the judges on the games that every student can play in! in the year 2005-2006 sports day as a surprise for the students they brought 4 players from the international Jordanian football team and it was great, they even picked the best students who play football in the school and played against the 4 major players but the 4 players won, lol!

Curriculum

V.C.S school teaches French to the students in the school, which is unique in the schools of Jordan because not all schools offer French education, also the school is really interested in giving the students good materials in all kind of ways, they also have great staff that teach their students, as well as their new English teaching ways that they offer right now and not to mention the computer materials that they offer so that their students can get the best education that the school can provide for them.
