January 26 1963 in Hackney) is an English former professional footballer. He played as a goalkeeper.In a career spanning over 20 years, he turned out for 15 different clubs in total, making over 250 league appearances. In 1984 he won the
UEFA Cup with Tottenham Hotspur, saving the deciding penalty of the shoot-out and becoming a Spurs hero in the process.Tony is now one of the FA's national goalkeeping coaches along with Martin Thomas and
Ray Clemence . Tony generally works with the England youth teams.Honours
