- Grand Quadro
Grand Quadro is a Russian Comedy play that never made it big, even though it was loved by critics.
History
Grand Quadro (pronounced Grando Quwadro) was a comedy musical written by "Alfred Boojum" in 1988. Although it was well performed and had a great plot it never took off. The play got great reviews by critics but it didn't seem to have what was required for a successful musical. Grand Quadro was performed 4 times in Russia before it was canceled, every performance lost money.
'It just didn't have what it takes to go big.' - a public viewer
'Very well put together just unlucky.' - a critic
The first performance only lost five grand but as word spread that it lacked, the losses increased. Alfred Boojum had no idea what was wrong with his musical and surveyed the public about what it lacked, his surveys were unsuccessful though as nobody knew why they didn't like it.With only 4 performances in Russia other countries didn't know about it, some people said that it may have been successful in other countries and it was unlucky that it started in Russia.'It may have just not suited the Russian audience.' - Alfred Boojum

Music
The music for the musical was performed by a multi-nationality Rock band called "Fulla Carp" - not a typo they were trying to make a play on words - The bands members are Hector, Shou Lee, El Salid and Mbarmn.
Hector is British and plays the Drums and backup Vocals.
Shou Lee is North Korean and plays the Electric Guitar.
El Salid is Mexican and does Lead Vocals and Electric Piano.
Mbarmn is Zimbabwean and plays the Kazoo.Conspiracies
Some people believe that the musical, Grand Quadro, was actually developed by the South Sudanese Mafia (or SSM). This group allegedly created the play to lure small kids and apricot pies to relax and let down their defences. This is supported by the that fact that during the 4 performances, 3 children and 9 apricot pies were murdered. These commotions generally happened towards the back of the audience although one was committed on stage. Little heed was paid to these events due to the production's slogan "the show must go on."Fact|date=November 2007
