History

Established in 1972, the school has witnessed an array of changes and modifications. At first the school was started in two branches namely Raman h.s.school with higher secondary classes and Bhabha middle school with primary and middle school classes. Later in year 2002 Bhabha middle school was closed and the whole school was shifted in one building . In year 2007 when former principal Mr. A.N.Mishra retired then came Mr. N.U.K. Menon just for one year with a decision that broke hearts of all students Raman School was decided to be closed in two years and in this way the only M.P. Board affiliated school of the city which was I.S.O certified came near its final year in the 2008-09 session and the BHE Shiksha Mandal that was running the school plainly said that there are no new admissions however not sseing that they never utilized the full amount of money given to them for the welfare of school. And in this way a school dedicated for the welfare of people was ruined under the hands of corrupt officerscoord|23|14|34|N|77|26|52|E|type:edu|display=inline,title.
