The "North Texas Journal" is a free weekly newspaper distributed around the
North Texas and SouthernOklahoma areas. First published in June 1987, it was the first African-American newspaper in the City ofWichita Falls ,Texas . While known in the past as an African-American publication, it has recently taken on a more mainstream audience. One main notable feature of The North Texas Journal is its lack of bad news. Along with the good news, the content includes mostly business news and family-oriented articles.In the beginning of 2006, the publisher, Reginald Blow launched its website, The North Texas Journal Online.
