Hachinohe, Aomori ,Japan ) is aJapan esefigure skater who competed in both singles and pairs. As a single skater, he is a two-time Japanese national champion. He represented Japan at the1998 Winter Olympics , placing 17th. He competed in pairs at the national level withMarie Arai , winning the national title in 1997.Tamura landed a quadruple toe-loop in competition in 1999 and a quadruple toe-triple toe combination in 2000. He retired from competitive skating after the 2003-2004 season. During his career, he was coached by
Minoru Sano .He currently works as a coach. He coaches
Aki Sawada andSatsuki Muramoto , among others.External links
