Born in a remote village near Calicut Kerala named Nandi as son of a small time merchant Pharis studied in mediocre Governmentschools,and was extra ordinarly intelligent.from young age his Charishmatic behavior made him a pet of all.He did struggle a lot initially but later build up a focussed business organisation.

Controversies Pharis was very close to two contradicting Institutes of Kerala,The Church and Party.He was close to all top politicians in India.But controversies always followed him.He is regarded as the arch rival of Kerala chief minister V.S.Achuthanandan because of his proximity to Mr.Pinarayi Vijayan.When Vijayan faction was about to be collapsed it is his interview which was a saving grace to them and they bounced back with vengeance.In 2006, he was the former chairman of DEEPIKA involved in the National Kidney Foundation Singapore scandal. A friend of then CEO of the National Kidney Foundation Singapore (NKF), T. T. Durai, he was involved in several companies dealing with the NKF. These companies include Protonweb and Forte, which were paid even though they did not fulfill its contractual duties.
