Professor William Doe is the Australian-born Provost of the Aga Khan University and former professor of medicine and Dean of the University of Birmingham Medical School. [Who's Who in Australia (Crown Content, 2008) pp641]

Doe was educated at Newington College (1954-1958) [Newington College Register of Past Students 1863-1998 (Syd, 1999) pp53] and graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney.
