Prigorodnoye ( _ru. При́городное, _ja. Merei, Mereya between 1945-1947) is a settlement in Korsakovsky District of Sakhalin Oblast, Russia, located on the Mereya River not far from the district's administrative center Korsakov. The settlement is now the site of the large liquid natural gas plant constructed under the auspices of Sakhalin-2 project.
