Yakir Forman was a runner up in the
2007 International Bible Contest . He placed 4th worldwide in the contest, trailing only three Israelis. He placed first in a separate contest, the diaspora competition, that tested the top participant from countries other than Israel. [Shragai, Nadav. During the competition, he was a student at theMoriah School . While attending Moriah, he also help the Moriah 7th and 8th grade math teams win for two consecutive years respectively. He also helped the school place highly inUnited States Chess Federation tournements. He has also accumulated an above 1600 chess rating.
