The First Step (TFS) is an American straight edge band, formed in 2001 and originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina. The group is influenced by Youth of Today, DYS, Minor Threat, 7 Seconds, Uniform Choice, Dag Nasty, Chain of Strength, and Gorilla Biscuits.
