Serge N´Gal (born January, 13, 1986) is a Football striker from Nkongsamba, Cameroon, who currently plays as a striker/winger for Segunda División side Gimnàstic de Tarragona.

Biography

Serge N'Gal started his professional career in Spanish Villareal CF, but could not find a place in the first team. In 2004, he moved to Finnish Veikkausliiga team FC Inter Turku. He had visited Finland even before when he played for Cameroon in the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship. His first season was not a success due to an injury and he managed to play only in six matches scoring twice. But in his second season he was among the top players in the league and his impressive performances woken bigger European clubs. After the season he moved to Ligue 2 and Stade Brestois. After an unsuccesful visit to France he moved to BWINLIGA club UD Leiria.

In May 2008, N'gal stated that Benfica and Deportivo de La Coruña had shown interested in him, but some of the Leiria officials had said that he is a difficult person and the interest cooled down. In August 2008, he moved back to Spain and signed a two-year contract with Gimnàstic in the Segunda División. He is a member of Cameroon U21 team and played in the Football at the 2008 Summer Olympics - Men's tournament
