Official state vehicles in Uruguay

The government of Uruguay has a fleet of official state vehicles, used for different purposes.

Presidential vehicle

The presidential state car in Uruguay is an armored 2005 Chevrolet Vectra, bought by president Tabaré Vázquez when he started his term in March 1, 2005. Before that, the president travelled in a Mitsubishi Galant from the government's fleet of diplomatic cars.

Official vehicles

As of August 2007, the following models are part of Uruguay's fleet of official vehicles:
*Mitsubishi Galant
*Toyota Corolla
*Volkswagen Vento
*Rover 75

Municipal vehicles

A fleet of armored Peugeot 607 is used to transport municipal intendents of Uruguay.
