Lilly Arbor Project

The Lilly Arbor Project is a part of an experimental floodplain reforestation program.It was performed by the department of CEES (Center of Earth and Environmental Science) at IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis).

As a part of the project 1,400 trees were planted along the White River in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. Students and faculty from various schools, universitiesconduct research and maintain the restoration using the CEES service learning program.
