Solomon Hardy

Solomon Hardy (May 18, 1863 — July 5, 1931) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. He was born and died in Ilkeston.

Hardy represented Derbyshire in one game during the 1898 County Championship season, against Essex. Derbyshire lost the match in what was at the time one of the largest margins of defeat for the team.

Hardy put on just ten runs for the team and was not selected again for the side, while Derbyshire finished joint ninth in the table with a finishing percentage of −50%.
