Leila Kubba Kawash or simply Leila Kubba is an
Iraq i-Americanartist who was born and educated inBaghdad ,Iraq .She graduated with a
National Diploma of Art and Design from theManchester College of Art and Architecture and also studied at theCorcoran College of Art inWashington DC . She has participated in exhibitions across the world, including solo exhibitions atLeighton House inLondon ,England ,Magna Gallery inAthens ,Greece ,Atrium of International Monetary Fund and Alif Gallery inWashington DC , at theCultural centers in Abu Dhabi inUAE ,Amman ,Jordan , and a touring exhibition across theUnited States . Today she lives and works creatively in Washington DC. Her latest series,New Beginnings , inspired by a recent visit toIraq , reflects on the uncertainty that lies ahead and the women who bear the fragments of Iraq’s past, present and future.Her works are in private and public collections internationally, including the
