1948's New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership was the forty-first season of the rugby league competition based in Sydney. The teams remained unchanged from the previous season, with ten clubs from across Sydney contesting the premiership during the season which culminated in a grand final between Western Suburbs and Balmain.
