He can play as Striker or Attacking midfielder. He has been capped by the Colombian NT in 2007 for a game against Panama. He was also the Leading goalscorer for Atlético Huila in 2007 in the Copa Mustang

After being the gold boot winner with Atlético Huila and despite rumors and interest from European clubs he returned to Deportivo Cali where he is currently again the top scorer in Colombia.
