Terry O'Connor (born 13 October, 1972) is an English former rugby league footballer. His position was prop-forward.

A native of Widnes, O'Connor was picked up by Salford. He joined Wigan in 1994.

O'Connor joined his hometown club Widnes at the end of the 2004 season. He failed to save the Widnes Vikings from relegation in 2005, but played another year with Widnes in NL1. After a season playing with his good friend Barrie McDermott he finally retired in 2006.

O'Connor was a Great Britain international with 14 caps. O'Connor also played for England. O'Connor went on to represent Ireland at the 2000 Rugby League World Cup and has captained the Irish on numerous occasion. O'Connor has also represented Lancashire in the Origin Series.

O'Connor now works on a number of community based initiatives and also for Sky Sports, appearing in light-hearted features with Barrie McDermott as well as serving as a pundit for the coverage of lower-league games.
