Linwood Elementary School is a K-5 elementary school located at 1654 South Hydraulic in Wichita, Kansas. Established in 2004, it is part of Wichita Public Schools and it educates around 560 students in Sedgwick County. Pattie Avenue. The school is notorious for its overcrowding. In the 2005-06 year, Teresa Broadhead without a classroom of her own, taught in a corner of the library and in a converted storage room. In September 2006 two students were admitted to hospital after they were given crack cocaine by adults.
