This page is the discography for the band Weezer. To date, they have released six studio albums, three extended plays (EPs), sixteen singles, sixteen music videos, and one music DVD on Geffen Records. This list does not include material performed by members or former members of Weezer that was recorded with The Rentals, The Special Goodness, The Relationship, Avant Garde, Karlophone, or any other solo projects.

Weezer debuted in 1994 with their self-titled album referred to by fans as "The Blue Album". The album was a huge commercial success spawning the popular singles "Undone - The Sweater Song" and "Buddy Holly", both of which were responsible for launching Weezer into mainstream success with the aid of music videos directed by Spike Jonze. It is currently certified three times platinum, making it Weezer's best selling album of all-time.cite web|title=Gold and Platinum: Searchable Database|publisher=RIAA|url=http://www.riaa.com/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=SEARCH|accessdate=2007-10-09] After the multi-platinum success of their debut album, in late December 1994, Weezer took a break from touring for the Christmas holidays.Luerssen D., John. "Rivers' Edge: The Weezer Story". ECW Press, 2004, ISBN 1-55022-619-3 p. 137] Cuomo traveled back east to his home state of Connecticut, and using an eight-track recorder, he began piecing together demo material for Weezer's next album. Cuomo's original concept for Weezer's second album was to be a space-themed rock opera, "Songs from the Black Hole".cite web | url=http://www.weezer.com/info/recording/WeezRecHist7.htm|title=Weezer Record History page 7|accessdate=2007-09-19 |publisher="Weezer.com"] Ultimately, the "Songs from the Black Hole" album concept was dropped. Luerssen D., John, 2004 p. 139] The band would later incorporate songs from these sessions into the final concept, which was "Pinkerton". In 1996, "Pinkerton" was released. It was considered a critical and commercial failure, selling far less than its multi-platinum predecessor.cite web | last = | first = | url = http://www.gloriousnoise.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=3940 | title = For The Statistically Minded | format = | work = | publisher =Glorious Noise | accessdate = 2007-02-06] However, in the years following its release, it has seen much critical and commercial championing.cite web | last = | first = | url = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinkerton_%28album%29#Retrospect | title = Pinkerton: Reception: Retrospect | format = | work = | publisher =Wikipedia | accessdate = 2007-10-09] Following a hiatus, after the release of "Pinkerton", in 2001, Weezer would return to critical and commercial prominence with the platinum-selling release of their second self-titled album, commonly referred to by fans as "The Green Album". The album would spawn their first #1 single with "Beverly Hills." The single would stay at #1 for a week only to be outdone by their third single "Perfect Situation" which stayed at #1 for four weeks.Cite web|url=http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/retrieve_chart_history.do?model.vnuArtistId=36614&model.vnuAlbumId=678014|title=Weezer Artist Chart History|accessdate=2007-09-19|publisher="Billboard"] Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, [cite web | last = | first = | url = http://www.metacritic.com/music/artists/weezer/makebelieve | title = Weezer: Make Believe (2005): Reviews | format = | work = | publisher =Metacritic | accessdate = 2007-09-05] the album was considered a big success, with "Beverly Hills" becoming the top-selling digital download of 2005cite web | last =Welte | first = Jim | url = http://www.mp3.com/news/stories/2819.html | title = Weezer, Gwen top digital sales | format = | work = | publisher =MP3.com | accessdate = 2007-10-09] and the album being certified platinum.cite web|title=Gold and Platinum: Searchable Database|publisher=RIAA|url=http://www.riaa.com/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=SEARCH|accessdate=2007-10-09] Following the release of "Make Believe", the band would return once again to hiatus-mode for the next two years. On April 1, 2008, it was announced that their sixth album, "Weezer" would see release on June 24, 2008.cite web | last = | first = | url = http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003783870| title = Weezer Sets Date For, Names New Album | format = | work = | publisher =Weezer.com | accessdate = 2008-04-01] The first single from the album, "Pork and Beans" spent 11 weeks at the top of the "Billboard" Modern Rock Tracks chart. This made the song the fastest rising song ever for the group as the song hit #1 after only 3 weeks on the chart and the third song overall for the group to hit #1. It has now become Weezer's biggest hit single to date. With the success of this song, the album's release date was moved up to June 3, 2008. The second single from the album, "Troublemaker", has debuted at #39 on the "Billboard" Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart for the week of July 26, 2008.
