Wally Gunnyon (born 16 May 1895) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the VFL in the 1920s.

Gunnyon played originally with South Fremantle and may have started his VFL career earlier had he not served in World War One. He usually played on the half forward line and represented Western Australia in the 1921 Perth Carnival.

In 1922 he was recruited to St Kilda and went on to play 63 games for the club, the latter games in an unfamiliar defensive role. He left the club for the VFA in 1927 where he joined the newly established Oakleigh.
