E-toile

E-toile is a group of research and creation on art, the living spectacle and Internet.During its existence (1999-2004) e-toile with undertaken many artistic experiments, theatrical and choreographic using, while questioning them, new technologies in general and Internet in particular.

E-toile was founded by yannick bressan and Cécile Huet. The group of research and e-toile creations was directed by Yannick Bressan. The object of this theoretical and practical artistic project was to reflect and act (to react), by artistic creations and literary and university publications, on the use of new technologies in art.

Many spectacles on line and interactives “one line” exclusively and “one” and “off line” simultanéments were born. E-toile with also undertaken research on the radio and Internet simultaneously (Texts of Brecht or Maeterlinck put in wave (radio judaïca Strasbourg/France) and in image on Internet by yannick Bressan and Cecile Huet each one in respective creations.

The e-toile project was initially constant by the Z.K.M. of Karlsruhe and, thereafter, and taking into consideration success and interest of its research, e-toile worked with many French Nationales scenes as well as places the such City of Sciences of Paris the Villette.

This project remains to date and in its form direct, interactive, on Internet and (for certain creations like the series of the “bals”) vis-a-vis a real public simultaneously, single in the world.
