Tursdale is a hamlet in
County Durham ,England . It is situated a short distance to the west ofCoxhoe , a few miles south ofDurham . It is part of thecivil parish ofCassop-cum-Quarrington and theCity of Durham district.Tursdale has been proposed as a suitable site for a road-rail freight interchange due to its proximity to both the
East Coast Main Line , the mothballedLeamside Line and the A1(M)motorway .External links
