Wowhead is a search database for the popular
massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft .History
It was created in December 2005, starting with a "Talent Calculator". In June 2006 they released the now-main project which has been described as a "premium online database" [ [http://www.tuaw.com/2008/06/03/wowhead-warcraft-database-releases-os-x-client/ Wowhead Warcraft database releases OS X client] , tuaw.com] . The Database relies upon players of
WoW themselves, through the comment system and the client, which records information as the game is being played when the player runs it. They have since become a member of theZAM Network with other sites such asThottbot andAllakhazam .
