Romeu Oliveira Ribeiro (born January 13, 1989 in Vieira do Minho, Braga) is a Portuguese footballer who currently plays defensive midfielder for C.D. Aves, on loan from SL Benfica.

Ribeiro began his football formation with local Sporting Clube de Braga, being snapped by Sport Lisboa e Benfica in 2004. Like central defender Miguel Vítor, he played with the first team due to injuries to teammates, debuting in domestic and European competition in exactly the same matches that Vítor. However, on January 2008, both players were loaned to second level side C.D. Aves.

In August, Ribeiro saw the loan period extended until June 2009.
