Frederick's
Bar Mitzvah is a couple of days away and Lilith is reminiscing about his childhood. When going through the guest list, Lilith finds that Freddy has invited as many guests as he could, in order to get more gifts. She embarrasses him by crying during her speech, and Frasier embarrasses both himself and Frederick by mistakenly speaking Klingon after a disagreement with Noel, his coworker. Trivia
In the scene with the family in Frasier's apartment prior to leaving for Boston, the camera moves from one side of Martin's chair to the other without explanation.
The line "It's a lot more beautiful in the original Klingon" refers to a line from the film Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, in which the Klingon character Chancellor Gorkon says, "You have not experienced Shakespeare until you have read him in the original Klingon."
Ironically, if Noel was correct in saying that all Star Trek captains were appearing at the Star Trek convention, Kelsey Grammer himself would have been there, having played Captain Morgan Bateson of the USS Bozeman in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Cause and Effect".
