Rahilya Geybullayeva

Rahilya Geybullayeva (born January 30, 1961) is a well known Azerbaijani researcher in comparative literature, theory of literature and Azerbaijani literature. Mrs. Geybullayeva is a founder and president of [http://www.azcla.org Azerbaijani Association of Comparative Literature] .She has been a panel member at various well-know universities, including Harvard University, MIT, London School of Economics, University College London, and many others around the world.

In 2003 Mrs. Geybullayeva was Coordinator of Azerbaijani Mougham project for UNESCO “Masterpieces of Intangible Heritage” programme. She is Member of National Committee for Protection of Oral and Intangible Heritage (Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences for UNESCO).

At present Mrs. Geybullayeva is an active researcher and the Head of Journalism Department at [http://www.bsu-az.org Baku Slavic University] .
