synonyms = The Handsome Fruiteater ("Pipreola formosa") is a species of bird in the Cotingidae family. It is endemic to Venezuela. Two populations of the species live on the northern coastal regions, separated by 400km.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
