Harris Stratyner

Harris B. Stratyner is a licensed psychologist and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor, and a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is also a board member of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, and vice president of the Caron Foundation. He has hosted his own radio show for 20 years on AM 1230 WFAS called "Here's to Your Good Health". He was formerly Director of Addiction Services at Mount Sinai as well as NYPH Westchester where he founded Madison East and The Retreat at Westchester, respectively. A frequent expert on national television, he is perhaps best known for his development of "Carefrontation" in treating individuals with psychiatric and substance use disorders. He also has been a Contributing Editor for the "PDR for Mental Health Professionals.
