Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music . Studied underJo Shimaoka ,Akio Yashiro ,Teruyuki Noda andMichio Mamiya . In 1976, he won the first prize at Mainichi Music Competition. He has been familiar to Japanese choirs since his virtual first choral work "Eyes to the Season" (Kisetsu he no manazashi; for mixed/men's chorus and piano).Major works
