- Moebius Ring
An example would be a group of 9 square rooms, 3x3 formation, where one might cross into a room through an initial entrance, take four "right turns", and discover that the fourth turn, which should lead them back to their initial starting room, is actually a different room than their starting room. The identical nature of the rooms keeps the "user" from noticing any startling telltale signs that they're retraversing previous rooms, and give the alarming sensation that the interconnected rooms go on forever in every direction. An instance would include looking through a single doorway (usually placed in the middle of each of the four walls) which would produce a never-ending distance, which would be accomplished by never showing the first room that the user is standing in, but a succession of the other rooms through specific doors (eg. so they don't see themselves and their back looking through the door).
