synonyms = The Large Cactus-finch ("Geospiza conirostris") is a species of bird often placed in the Emberizidae family. It is one of Darwin's finches, and is endemic to the Galápagos islands (Ecuador), breeding only on Española Island, Genovesa, Darwin Island, and Wolf Island.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. Its main food source is the cactus Opuntia.
