- Franck Amsallem
Franck Amsallem is a French jazz pianist and composer. He was born in 1961 in
Oran (Algeria ) but grew up inNice ,France . He started learning thepiano at age 7 and also took up the classicalsaxophone at the local conservatory. As an adult he moved to America, studied at theBerklee College of Music andManhattan School of Music and has collaborated with Gerry Mulligan, Joshua Redman, Maria Schneider and Charles Lloyd. He now lives in Paris and has recorded 7 CDs under his name. Franck's next cd will be a solo showcasing his singing along with his piano playing.Recordings
