Emra Tahirović (born 31 July, 1987 in Sarajevo) is a Swedish football player of Bosniak descent. He currently plays for Lille OSC.

Emra was born in Sarajevo, but as he was 6 years old he and hes family was forced to flee dou to the out break of the Bosnian War, they fleed to Örebro, Sweden. He later started to play for local club IK Sturehov and at the age of 14 moved to Örebro SK, after failing to become a "starting eleven" player he moved to Halmstads BK in 2006, motivating the move with that he was never really given the chance in Örebro SK, before signing for HBK he had been on trial with his future club FC Zürich and Werder Bremen, but wanted to evolve some more in Allsvenskan befor leaving for bigger european clubs [cite web|url=http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/fotboll/allsvenskan/halmstad/article492686.ab|title=”Jag vill vinna skytteligan”|date=2007-05-20|accessdate=2008-08-19|publisher=Aftonbladet.se|language=Swedish] , not ending up like his friend Martin Bengtsson, who tried to commit suicide after some time as a youth player in Inter [cite web|url=http://svt.se/svt/jsp/Crosslink.jsp?d=21830&a=812604&lid=puff_812604&lpos=bild|title=Pojkdrömmen kunde ha kostat honom livet|date=2007-04-23|accessdate=2008-08-19|publisher=Svt.se|language=Swedish] . He was given the chance in HBK, coming about half the matches as a substitute. In 2007 he got the atention of Lille OSC in the french Ligue 1 and was later sold for 15 million SEK. Having trouble to play an matches, only playing 2, for the club, he was loand to Swiss side FC Zurich in january, 2008, he would be loand until the end of the season.

Tahirović moved from Halmstad to Lille for 15 million SEK. In January, 2008, he joined Swiss side FC Zurich on loan till the end of the season. [ [http://www.uefa.com/competitions/uefacup/news/kind=1/newsid=644375.html Tahirovic joins Swedes at Zürich Uefa.com] ]
