P. J. Kurien

Professor P.J. Kurien a politician from Indian National Congress party is a Member of the Parliament of India representing Kerala in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament. P.J. Kurien was born on March 31 1941 to Mr. P.G. Joseph and Mrs. Rachel Joseph at Puramattom, in Travancore. After graduating with a master's degree in physics from St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry, he entered politics, and has been in the national parliament for the last three decades representing Idukki, and Mavelikkara Lok Sabha constituencies, and since 2005, is a member of the Rajya Sabha.
