The Weller's Salamander ("Plethodon welleri") is a species of salamander in the Plethodontidae family.It is endemic to the United States. It was found on Grandfather Mountain near Linville North Carolina by the young herpetologist Worth Hamilton Weller who on a second field trip there to gather more specimens died at age 18 in a fall from a cliff (Adler:182).

Its natural habitats are temperate forests and rocky areas.It is threatened by habitat loss.
