Canadian Technology Accreditation Board

The Canadian Technology Accreditation Board (CTAB) is a board of the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists that was established in 1982 to manage the accreditation of post-secondary applied science and engineering technology programs. Stephen Gould, CET is the President.

The CTAB develops, coordinates and manages the national accreditation program for applied science and engineering technology programs. CTAB is a member of the AAAC.

Once certified, technicians and technologists may use one of the following professional designations: CET; AScT; CTech; RET; and TP.
