Mordillo and Brynocki base themselves on an isolated island. Mordillo develops an attraction to Shang-Chi's love interest, Leiko Wu. Shang-Chi and his allies, including Black Jack Tarr and Clive Reston, invade the island twice, eventually killing Mordillo.

keletons On Hand

Brynocki keeps the destroyed remnants of the island going ["Master of Kung Fu" #119] . He creates new robots and weaponry and polishes his master's skeleton every day. After a deluisional tour of the wrecked island, in which he seems to believe Mordillo's skull is giving him instructions, he decides to have Wu kidnapped and skelontonized, to place at his master's side.

Brynocki flies his soldiers to the intelligence agency MI-6 in London, Britain. A far-ranging battle erupts, involving Wu, Shang-Chi, Reston and his love interest, Dark Angel. Brynocki's attack causes fatallities among unamed security guards. The main heroes destroy the soldiers one by one and Shang-Chi kicks Brynocki out of the flying craft, to crash to London far below. Brynocki ends up decapitated but mobile, shocking nearby pedestrians.

Brynocki uses Shockwave as an ally on at least one occasion.

Rom Spaceknight

Following Brynocki's final appearance in "Master of Kung-Fu" he reappears in Rom Spaceknight #47 (Oct. 1983). While Rom and Starshine are flying over the East China Sea they enter into what Brynocki considers Mordillo's airspace and he launches an attack on them but the Spaceknights survive and retaliate. Shot down along with his boss Brynocki leaves Mordillo's skeleton behind so he can get back to the main base quicker and launch a new attack but he inadvertantly places it on top of a pit of qucksand so it sinks. Rom and Starshine determine that Brynocki is not involved with their own enemies and leave the island and Brynocki goes to retrieve his boss but can't find Mordillo's now submerged remain. Brynocki decides he's been abandoned and needs to find a new friend.

Iron Man

Many years later, Arcade, also an assassin, finds and employs Brynocki, using his former master's island as a new Murderworld. Iron Man reprograms Brynocki, who helps Iron Man defeat Arcade.
