The shell is roundly ovate, with the rather low apex at about one-fourth diameter from the periphery. Sculpture consists of closely spaced concentric growth folds, crossed by dense spiral threads, producing a scale-like or granulose surface.
The shell coloration is light brownish-buff externally, with the underside whitish.
The shell height is up to 12 mm, and width 28 mm.
