Loch Lloyd is a

Tammy Faye died at her home there.The Kansas City Star describes it as "an upscale, gated community" when it reported that police had shot a 7 1/2 foot, 118 pound alligator there in July 2005. The village is built around a convert|110|acre|km2|1|sing=on reservoir on Mill Creek (a tributary of the
Blue River (Missouri) ) and an 18-hole golf course built in 1990 designed byDonald Sechrest . It derives its name from the reservoir and real estate developer Harry Lloyd who started out selling trinkets and seasonal gifts in the area via the House of Lloyd brand but branched into the real estate business.
