Silver Lake College is a four-year,
Catholic liberal arts college located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, in theDiocese of Green Bay . Founded as an academy in1885 by theFranciscan Sisters of Christian Charity , the college achieved four-year college status in1935 and was then called Holy Family College. The college began admitting laywomen on a regular basis in1957 and becamecoeducational in1969 . In1972 the college became separately incorporated from the Franciscan order, and was renamed Silver Lake College of the Holy Family.Enrollment

Athletics
Silver Lake College is home to four intercollegiate athletic teams including a Women's Basketball team, both Men's & Women's Cross Country, and new for the 2007/2008 season, Men's Basketball. There are also various recreational sports available to those who are interested in more casual games. These include ping pong, volleyball, a dance team, and more!
Silver Lake College has been a proud participant in intercollegiate athletics for more than 25 years. We compete nationally as a member of the
