Aeroprediction

Aeroprediction

Aeroprediction is a semi-empirical based computer program for the prediction of missile aerodynamics. It is accurate for low angles of attack through Mach 8.0. For lower Mach numbers it is accurate to high values of angle of attack of up to 30-40 degrees of angle of attack. The code may be used to compute the center of pressure and static margin of missiles. The Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act provides insights into how to use aerodynamic prediction codes such as Aeroprediction in the design of missile for US acquisition.
