"Phenatoma" is a genus of predatory sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Turridae, the turrids.

Distribtion

This genus is endemic to New Zealand.

hell description

The shells of species in this genus are rather large and very tall-spired, but with a narrow body whorl, tapered to a short, deeply notched siphonal canal.
