A Midsummer Night's Dream (Playboy Party)

The Midsummer Night's Dream Party, also known as the Midsummer's party, is a annual event held at the Playboy mansion on the first Saturday in August ref|Forbes.

In 2007, the party was thrown on August 4th. The theme was Arabian Nights. Some of the guests on hand were Christopher Knight and wife Adrianne Curry, Alfonso Ribeiro, Bambi Lashell and Devin Haman from E!'s "Sunset Tan", Brandi C. from VH1's "Rock of Love", and many more. Entertainment was provided by Explicit Strippers, Nic Haas performed for Kendra's mother to celebrate her new life. This show was also taped by E channel and aired on The Girls Next Door episode "Unveilings." For the first in the history of the mansion, the event will take place twice in one year (2007). The event will start off at the mansion then head to the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV, home to the world’s only Playboy Club two weeks later. Midsummer Nights Dream is promising to be the event of the year featuring a poolside masquerade/lingerie bacchanalia that is only comparable to what takes place inside the coveted gates of the Playboy mansion. The event will also feature a headlining celebrity act (TBD) that will perform 3-5 hit songs, body painting featured by body-paint artist Mark Frazier, extensive custom prop creations, a complimentary hosted bar of vodka, gin, wine, tequila, and mixers, and one of a kind performance art in and around the entire pool area.
