Paranaguá is a city in the state of Paraná in
Brazil . Founded in 1648, it is Paraná's oldest city. Its population was 147,934 as of January 2006.It is known for its excellent port facilities, being the sea port for

Climate
Although Paranaguá is situated in the south part of Brazil, where temperatures are cooler, it is known for its extremely hot and humid summers and mild and also very humid winters.
Summer
Paranaguá is one of Paraná's hottest cities in the summer. Temperatures around 40°C (104°F) happen quite frequently from December to February.
Winter
The coolest month of the year is usually either July or September, with average highs of 21°C and lows of 12°C. Strong cold waves can get temperatures to dip below 5°C around three times a year, this tends to vary considerably from year to year though.
